Comment: Since I own other Makita 18volt tools,the purchase of this flashlight was a nobrainer at the price being asked by Amazon.I can find no faults with this product.

Summary: good light,, but not quite
Comment: this light is good with the different positions you need in getting a job done,, I just think It was just too light, and not heavy duty enough (It feels like if I were to drop it, it would break easily,) and the light is not as powerful as I thought it should be,,. But it gets the job done,, as long as your careful with it,,. If you have more heavy duty jobs, than you might want a more heavy duty light than this one,,.. but it completes my makita drill and compact drill set,, so I'm happy!

Summary: Great light for LXT owners
Comment: The BML185W is a newer version of the blue BML185 and takes both 1.5Ah and 3.0Ah batteries. When used with the 1.5Ah batteries, this is very light and powerful flashlight. The on/off switch also works well. If you are looking for an 18V LXT flashlight, get this one if you want to use 1.5Ah batteries.
