The Accutire Heavy Duty Truck Tire Gauge is designed especially for large or deep set tires. The gauge itself is a dial, much like a blood pressure monitor. The dial is encased in rubber to safeguard it against dropping or turbulence. A 10? rubber hose extends from the dial with a durable metal head. The dial reads from 10-100 PSI (pounds per square inch) in 2 pound increments. If you go over your target pressure, a handy release valve enables you to release small amounts of air until you reach the desired pressure.

The tire guage leakes where the hose swivels and will not hold air, the needle moves but goes back to zero. Makes good junk look bad.

Comment: The first unit received was defective, Amazon replaced it free of charge with a functioning one. This one seems to be working fine. How does a defective unit get into the factory package?
