Comment: Dremel is a reliable and extremely useful tool; and Dremel is a reliable company. I needed to replace a part. I went to the Dremmel website, called the 800 customer service number, and got a real person on the phone. The part was easy to order.

Summary: quality suffers with time
Comment: I bought my dremel 395 tool thinking that it would be a nice upgrade to my 5 year old cheap and nasty 20 dollar chinese rotary tool. It isnt an upgrade at all it really isnt and the pretty exterior and attachments dont compensate at all. It has not been as durable or as powerful as the chinese knock off. 15 years ago I knew dremel to be quality but it seems that quality is no longer a dremel trait.

Summary: The possibilities are endless
Comment: I needed to unscrew a wingnut off a screw (for a ceiling fan) and it will not budge. I was able to
cut the tip of the screw with the wingnut on it . . . got the wingnut off. Polished up a class ring
and it looked good as new. There is a book that comes with the tool on different uses and this
thing can do stuff I never thought of. There is enough attachments for different uses and the tool kicks!
