Comment: This base would work fine except the one sent isn't large enough for the saw to sit on. When I ordered the bench saw, it was suggested to buy the base at the same time and save money which I did assuming the person filling the order would be sure to match the base with the size of the saw. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to set the saw up within 30 days, so cannot return the base for "full refund."

Comment: I will likely move my saw frequently in my little portion of the garage I carved out for a shop and this base will make my life easier for sure. The base itself is solid as can be and easy to assemble in nothing flat.

I have the Delta 36-507X X5 Contractor's Saw with Biesemeyer 30" fence and can also highly recommend the Delta 50-285 extension.

Comment: I wish I had purchased this years ago. I just bought Delta Mobile Bases for my table saw, band saw and drill Press. Will soon be buying one for my planer. Great product, well made, moves easily and stays put when the foot pedal is not engaged. Highly recommend.

Summary: Fits the Powermatic 64 w/ 50" fence and table
Comment: I bought this 50-277 machine base, plus the 50-284 extension (ASIN B0000223CH) to use with my Powermatic 64 tablesaw, which has the 50" fence and table. I was a bit worried about whether this part was properly sized for the Powermatic 64's foot dimensions, but it was just fine.

It's exceedingly easy to raise and lower the third wheel.

With the third wheel lowered, it is pretty simple for me to move the table saw around my limited garage floor space. The garage floor (cement) is divided into 4 sections, and the base allows me to roll the machine over the recesses between sections without much difficulty. When the third wheel is raised, I feel pretty comfortable that the machine will not be moving while I'm using it.
